Oh, the places I'll go are some beautiful places

Right around the time that I got separated this time last year, my ex and I had a very special trip planned to the British Virgin Islands with friends. After discussions, it was decided that only one of the two us should go, and somehow I decided that he should go and I should stay home. I can't tell you now why I thought that was the right decision. Yes, he did go. I didn't. It's bothered me ever since. Every once in awhile, I think about whether I should have gone and just run around the islands by myself. Yes, maybe I should have, though my frame of mind was not what you'd call good. But I didn't. Point being, I've talked with Pilot about how, among all the places that we plan to go together in our lives, and all the places we've already gone, I have to get to BVI. I have to get it out of my system. So we're going. It won't be the exact same trip, and we won't be going with those friends, but we're going, and we're going happy. :)
