Leave it to me to have a body that Ambien doesn't work on. Seems like half the world is getting all this fabulous sleep with the little pills, and they don't do anything at all for me. Tylenol PM does more and it's a heck of a lot cheaper. What a waste of money. Maybe I should just have someone konk me on the head with a brick. That might do the trick for a few hours.

It doesn't work on me, either. Tic-tacs work better (and taste yummy).
There are lots of different sleep pills out there if you need 'em. Admitting you need help with anything is hard, so you're halfway there, chica.
Just let me know when you need that brick ;)
Ambiens are hit or miss with me, as were the "CR" controlled release version as well - I've been moved to Rozerem, which is also hit or miss, and can induce some wild dreaming (sometimes good, sometimes not). I've had Rozerem dreams that were disturbing enough to wake me up, and resulted in very unrestful sleep. The one thing I did miss about the Ambiens were the sudden, lightning-strike quality about them when they did work. I had a phone conversation suddenly end when my Ambien dose kicked in, and the person I was speaking with found it rather disturbing...
Don't give up just yet - there are other fine chemicals on the market these days. I have to make an appointment with my sleep-meds specialist, soon...
