Well, when viewed as a ploy to parents, perhaps... But only if they actually pay any attention. Some people still continue down the self-destructive paths they've chosen regardless of the new responsibilities that parenthood thrusts on their shoulders (as evidenced in the post following this one). OK, they aren't drug users that I know of, but they are self-destructive in their behavior just as much as if they were. What do you think?
